Looking forward to kick-off FRIETS, a Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) project. FRIETS is a joint research and innovation initiative that aims in developing a strong partnership involving 13 partners from 5 European countries (Greece, Malta, Cyprus, United Kingdom, Romania) focusing on the sustainable optimization of the value chain of added-value fresh and dried berries through the integration of Precision Agriculture management strategies and innovative dehydration and edible coating processes

Join us in 2019 DETROP-OENOS exhbition, 2-4/03, Thessaloniki, Greece

Detrop and Oenos will be back in full force from 2 to 4 March 2019 at Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre, confirming their role as one of the largest events in the food & beverage industry.

With a rich schedule of side events, innovative actions and novel proposals, the exhibition ‘duo’ will once again serve as a point of reference for the food & beverage sector.

NFA takes part in the "Youth Innovation" event

​

We are honored to receive an invitation by the French Embassy in Athens, Greece to present NFA in the pitching event entitled "Youth Innovation".

The French Institute of Greece and the French Embassy in Greece has a keen interest for innovation and innovative actors. 

This is the 9th event organized, which will be held on February 1st 2018 in the French Institute Auditorium in Athens, the focus will be "the Food of Tomorrow". The event is sponsored by the French Ambassador in Greece, Christophe Chantepy.

NFA received the 1st prize at the 4th Agri-Food Masterclass!

​

After a fruitful and intensive weekend of coaching in enterpreneurship, NFA won the 1st prize. This Masterclass was organized by Orange Grove PatrasAroma Innovation Hub and Patras Science Park. The event was held with the kind support of the Netherlands Embassy in Athens, as part of its aim to support youth entrepreneurship in the agri-food sector, but also share Dutch knowledge and expertise to enable young entrepreneurs strengthen the start-up eco-system in Greece.​

NFA becomes a FooD-STA member

​

The ERASMUS+ Knowledge Alliance project will establish an independent “EuFooD-STA Center”, a platform with local hubs in different regions, as an organisational frame for international and sustainable collaborations between industry and academia in the food sector. The independent “EuFooD-STA Center” will enhance innovative education & training for students, targeted towards the needs of the industry and thus increasing their employability and on the other hand innovative continual professional development (CPD) for academic and company staff by facilitating experience exchange.

AVOYOG” is a smoothie beverage containing avocado and strained yoghurt whey, enriched with prebiotic fibers, natural antioxidant extract (NFA Rosemary Serum) and vitamin C. “AVOYOG” is an eco-friendly product developed by the research team of Laboratory of Food Chemistry and Technology, School of Chemical Engineering, National Technical University of Athens
